Lightweight Design

DJI Dock 2 is not only an upgraded version of first-generation but also serves a greater range due to the mounting condition, with features that include reduction in weight and dimension up to 68% lighter and 75 % or smaller respectively; requires just two people for transportation allowing fast deployment at any location leading down installation cost.

Efficient Site Evaluation

Before deployment, the aircraft can detect the surrounding environment using vision sensors and quickly determine whether the area has strong GNSS signals. This new vision-based evaluation markedly accelerates site selection, reducing the required time from five hours to twelve minutes or less.

  • IP55 Dust and Water Ingress Protection: The Dock 2 is designed with protection in mind. Conforming to the IP55 standard for dust and water resistance, Dock 2 can safely work long hours even in harsh climates with inhospitable environments.
  • Integrated Environmental Monitoring System: DJI Dock 2 incorporates and supports multiple sensors such as rain, wind speed & temperature, etc., in observing environment for its users. It will enable timely warnings or terminate flight tasks using DJI FlightHub 2 in combination with online weather forecasting to greatly decrease the risk of operation.
  • Increased Landing Stability: The aircraft uses next-gen image recognition to accurately read positioning markers on the landing pad. Also, a new slide-ramp centering design makes the landings even more accurate on the landing pad.
  • Onboard Backup-Battery: DJI DOCK 2 has a backup battery inside and can still work independently more than five hours when the power is lost unexpectedly, allowing enough time for aircraft to comeback landing.

Optimal efficiency in constant operation

  • Quick Launch: The Dock 2 equipped with two RTK antennas, the aircraft can obtain reliable RTH points and does not need to wait for convergence of RTK data. It also carries out a full propeller check and can be up in the air as soon as 45 seconds after powered on, moving fast once it does go operational.
  • Fast Charging: The DJI Dock 2 charges the aircraft from 20% to 90% within only around thirty-two minutes for rapid charging between every mission.
  • DJI Dock 2 internal fisheye camera and external projection full-field of vision dual-camera monitoring, real-time display.
