The Most Aerodynamic Inspire Yet: The sleek, new design of the accompanying Inspire 3 camera drone is more aerodynamically efficient than ever and has been updated to reflect this; as a result air resistance on all parts of the UAV are minimized.

Centimeter-Level

RTK Positioning

  • Inspire 3 combines two high-precision RTK positioning technologies, which have been applied in architectural services and surveying for centimeter level accuracy. In addition to making flight more stable than traditional GNSS-level positioning, RTK also allows for far greater accuracy in planning and executing the shots flown on any given mission—a boon both to creative processes as well as time-management.
  • The airframe has RTK antennas in-built, with a new stacked ceramic RX design that supports GPS/GLONASS-based and BeiDou/Galileo dual-frequency positioning to the centimeter level. Users can obtain centimeter-level 3D positioning accuracy by either activating an RTK network or connecting to a D-RTK 2 Mobile Station.

Dual-Antenna Orientation

Inspire 3 is equipped with a stacked ceramic antenna integrated in the front and rear bumper offering strong anti-magnetic-interference performance for better flight accuracy.

Waypoint Pro

Built for aerial filmmakers, Waypoint Pro offers flight-route and shot planning using custom specific settings. Together with the new Repeatable Routes and 3D Dolly modes, it brings a revolutionary automated shooting experience. Furthermore, RTK centimeter level positioning ensures more accurate flight-route planning and execution. Whether shooting solo or with an entire professional crew, you can utilize Waypoint Pro to nail even the most complex of scenes.

Repeatable Routes

Allowing the aircraft to automatically fly on a set route, and with all parameters (altitude, speed etc.) preset remains simply by means of setting up Repeatable Routes. More practically, repeating the same flight mission allows cinematographers to easily execute single-take films that would be inexplicably difficult in full-size gimbals or alternatively provide for different times of day at a location…longtime-lapses from a balcony have never been so easy whether capturing transitions from tween-day-night-or-sooners.

3D Dolly

  • 3D Dolly: It can replicate the experience of a crane, cablecam or dolly on film sets but in an exceptional way beyond their limitations.
  • The cinematographer has control over flying the aircraft manually along a configured flight route and can change parameters for speed, gimbal angle and other advanced settings on-the-fly depending upon their creative needs. Spotlight Pro

Continued from the Inspire 2, but Spotlight Pro makes more shot possibilities available to solo creators. Inspire 3 is powered by advanced Machine-Learning algorithms, offers auto-subject recognition and locking through people/vehicle/boat but achieves up to a higher degree of steadiness compared with former.

Spotlight Pro with Spotlight Mode: The aircraft and gimbal camera adjust to follow a subject. Pilots can circle around an object for a smooth 4K panning shot at any speed or angle without unwanted roll.

Free mode: Inspire 3 can keep the gimbal locked onto subject with full 360 degree pan of their camera while lots viewing from freestyle perspective on FPV watching where they are going better to allow for nicer triple and double axis moves such as really cool crane shots into close up quarter profiles.

Omnidirectional perception system

  • Inspire 3 is equipped with nine sensors, which builds a comprehensive protection for flying and it has an omnidirectional sensing system will detect obstacles around the aircraft in real-time.
  • A fisheye camera is added in all four landing arms for the first time. This design assists when the landing gear is raised to not be obstructed by the airframe and allows for horizontal obstacle sensing when lowering landing gear.

Ultra-wide night vision FPV camera

For FPV flying, the Inspire 3 gets a completely new camera: at the front is a 1/1.8-inch-sensor with large pixels of just 3μm in size which sits behind an all-new ultra-wide (161°) DFOV lens that's also live feed capable up to1080p @60fps. This is roughly double the FOV of its predecessor. This FPV camera complements its enchanting light-sensing capabilities, allowing pilots to see the detail-rich environment around them day or night and provide an additional level of flight safety.

Full-Frame 8K Imaging System

Tailormade 8K Sensor

  • The X9-8K Air is the most lightweight three-axis gimbal camera of its kind, and exclusively designed by DJI to elevate drone cinematography with Inspire 3. The processing system has been upgraded to DJI CineCore 3.0, capable of recording what it sees in up to 8K/25 frames per second (fps) CinemaDNG video and delivering RGBA RAW using optional codecs for high-dynamic-range (HDR), meeting the demanding image needs of top Hollywood films and episodic television productions with without backups or bracketing.

Dual Native ISO

  • X9-8K Air supports dual native ISO It is even has full-frame 30fps support under EI800/4000 for film production at a common 24fps or television and commercials' standard 25 fps (internationally). Here's EI 320/1600 at above 30fps.
  • This makes the X9-8K Air a device capable of recording images with an enviable level of detail and virtually no noise, even in low-light cityscapes or beaches.

14+ Stops of Dynamic Range

The X9-8K Air offers 14+ stops of dynamic range, that captures more details in both highlights and shadows under complex lighting conditions like sunsets or sunrise. With a higher dynamic range, post-editing is lively now let alone the original colors stay authentic even after large exposure adjustments.

DL Mount Lenses

X9-8K Air also integrates DJI's proprietary DL mount and supports an extra 18mm F2. In addition to its previous full-frame lens selections of DL 24/35/50 mm F2, the company also has a new telephoto with two more from their compendium (is that even relevant?) in four Ultra-wide models and 58mm. 8.
